Mr. Fiaz Shah – Barbados

Over 14 years of national and international experience as a technical adviser and project manager in in the education and training sector with a strong record of accomplishment in strategic and effective advocacy, planning and formulation of education programs/projects and the achievement of sustainable results to improve learning outcomes and equitable, inclusive, and universal access to education in normal country context during and after emergencies.

In recent past through application of systemic approach Mr. Shah has supported Ministries of Education in development and delivery of education through blended approach leading to digital transformation of education delivery in the context of COVID19 and other emergency situations. The approach includes development of digital curriculum-based contents, connectivity, digital public goods and teacher training to delivery through blended approach.

He currently serves as the Chief Education for UNICEF's East Caribbean area office.
