  • In this era of escalating social issues and dwindling values, educators will become aware of simple methods that can be used to enhance moral character education in Kindergartners and Primary School students. Participants will be sensitized to the Direct and Indirect Approaches to promote Educare and the five main human values of Truth, Right Conduct, Peace, Love and Non-violence. Human values can be infused in the school’s curriculum using the five teaching techniques which include value-based stories, songs and activities, and strategic questioning. All are encouraged to consciously practice this character-building mindset by engaging in follow-up life applications of the human values. The culmination of this workshop will be enabling participants to consider practical ways to formally and informally infuse values. Information will be provided about the training courses to increase the ability to teach character development.

  • The workshop will present the various possibilities of applying the SSEHV core principles in different educational levels, thus unfolding the Universal Human Values latent in the students. It will help participants to develop an awareness of the importance to combine Education with Educare in order to contribute to Self-knowledge and character building. Once the objectives of the programme have been understood, it allows the intuition and creativity of every teacher to blossom, enriching the pedagogical process by integrating the Human Values into the existing school curriculum and the various subjects. By providing the practical tools of an integrated way to support children in a holistic growth, educators contribute significantly to the construction of a harmonious society, leading to national welfare and world peace.

  • This is an engaging and transformative workshop on education in human values, for parents. Parenting is integral to the shaping of character in children. Education in Human Values can take root when it is seamless between the home and the school/centers of learning. This workshop equips parents with practical tools and insights to better foster human values in children and to make Education in Human Values a family affair.

  • SSEHV uses five universal human values and their values aspects in Direct and Integrated Awareness approaches to achieve practical, holistic human development.
